Frequently Asked Questions
A service where you sell your used, re-contract, or new mobile device and receive cash or a credit towards a new purchase. The amount depends on device model, condition, accessories included, etc.
We accept a wide range of brands (e.g. Apple, Samsung, OPPO, Huawei, Google). Older models may have lower value or may not be accepted if parts are too worn/damaged.
The value is based on:
• Model & specifications (storage, variant)
• Physical condition (scratches, dents, screen damage)
• Whether it’s “open set,” “sealed / new,” or “used”
• Completeness of accessories and packaging
• Battery health, functionality of all parts
• Valid identification (NRIC, passport, etc.) as per legal regulations.
• Proof of purchase or receipt (if available).
• All original accessories (charger, cable, box, etc.).
• Phone in a condition where all features can be inspected (e.g. screen unlocked, reset, no account locks, etc.).
Yes. Before handing over the device, you should backup your data, reset to factory settings, remove SIM cards, remove security locks (e.g. passcode / pattern / FaceID / Find My iPhone / Google account). If locks are not removed, the device may be rejected or you may get a lower offer.
It’s subjected to the models.
Deductions usually apply for:
• Screen damage or cracks
• Missing accessories or box
• Signs of repair or non-original parts
• Cosmetic damages (dents, scratches)
• Devices with locks or not fully reset
Trade-in quotations are often only valid for a limited time (same day or up to next day) because market values fluctuate. If you bring the phone in later, the value might change.
Often yes, but for bulk numbers there may need to be special arrangements or quotes. If you’re trading many devices (same model or different), contact us first.
Usually no — you can simply sell your device for cash. Trade-in can also be used to offset the cost of a new device if you wish, but that’s optional.
Payment is typically via PayNow or in-store cash. It usually happens immediately after inspection / handover. If using collection or remote services, payment might be after verification.
We require that the device is lawfully owned. If the device is reported lost/stolen, has an IMEI block, or fails verification (owner document/serials), the trade-in will be rejected. Legal identification (NRIC, etc.) is required.
In many cases yes, but the trade-in value will be much lower. Some severe defects may make a device not acceptable at all.
• Warranty activation status may affect the valuation (sometimes deductions if warranty has been activated).
• Devices still under financing or contract may not be accepted until fully paid.
• If there are locks tied to financing/carrier, those must be resolved before trade-in.
We highly recommend customers to close the deal at our retail shop. as we have to collect the customer details as per Singapore Police Force Law.
In Singapore, secondhand dealer laws require collection of seller’s identity, reporting certain trade-ins, ensuring devices are not stolen, etc. We comply with PDPA (data protection) and other relevant regulations.
